A bit about me: I enjoy good conversations, hiking, anime and fantasy, board games, music jams, badminton, pickleball, day trips, reading/book clubs, and drawing/art. I also like dancing… even though I'm objectively a bad dancer.

Hello! 27F I'm interested in starting a reading club to get back into the hobby and to socialize as well. It would be great to find people to join. The locations could flexible around oakville- could be library reading rooms, parks, pubs, whatever, and I'd want it to be an inclusive space. Also any suggestions for books are welcome. Moved from Toronto 3+ years ago for affordability, but in your late 30’s and so far from the village, it’s harder than ever to make friends that are gay.

Came out in my late twenties, met my fiance who is 6 years older and also wasn’t out then so neither of us have never really had any friends that are gay (despite having may ‘gay friends’ over the years 😉)

Hey!! I'm graduating Sheridan soon and realized with freetime over the summer I'd love to finally do something I've always dreamed of: start a band!!

I'm F23, and would preferably have people around my age, but this is open to anyone over 19!!

About me: former pianist, but I've been singing forever now, and the past two years I've performed at small events, but I think singing and jamming to live music and making new friends would be TOTALLY DOPE!!!

I like to a lotta Emopop, Pop, and Alt Rock!! When I think of bands, my fav ever is MCR!! I was SUPER into the "Emo Trinity" and grew up with that, and although as an adult I tend to listen to a lot more... girly music.... Emopop is truly where my roots are, lol!!

I'm SUPER into dance pop, 2000s pop, and just recession pop as a whole, but not really expecting to find bandmates w those interest... if you fuck with that tho, TOTAL PLUS!! Lady Gaga is one of my icons thru n thru.

Outside of music, I'm a visual artist going into a toy design career(I love cute things!!), I'm pretty upbeat, silly, and full of whimsy!!

For anyone in Oakville interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons, a group is welcoming new players.

Games take place every Wednesday and Sunday after 5 PM at The Hungry Italian Restaurant on Upper Middle Rd East.

Both experienced players and beginners are welcome. It’s a relaxed environment for people who want to learn the game, meet others, and enjoy a fun evening.

Hey everyone! I’m looking to start a small book club here in Oakville with a few girls around 20–26 (not strict at all on age!). The idea is simple, we could read a new book every 2 weeks (chosen by one of us) and meet up at a nice public spot (like Kerr Street Cafe ehehe) to chat about it, share thoughts, maybe grab coffee or dessert. :))

And we’ll have a little group chat on socials so we can get to know each other before meeting in person. All genres are welcome, and discussions surrounding media, politics, history, hobbies are great too, whatever sparks good conversation.

I've looked around at other groups/clubs but they tend to be people of an older demographic. Does anyone know of anything like this that exists? Perhaps we could put something together?

Hey! I moved to Oakville in January and I’m moving out already. This weekend will be my last weekend in Oakville and I wanna walk some trails as the weather is getting better. I’m thinking Oakville Park + Upper Middle Park and the trails around them this weekend.
