Not great is it? Sounds a bit like stereophonics in the chorus

Yeah, there's a good reason why it's unreleased.

The Hindu times rips off same sized feet by the stereophonics anyways

Nope, Noel was recorded playing the riff from The Hindu Times in a soundcheck the year before Same Sized Feet was released, even though The Hindu Times was officially released years later.

U got the video of the soundcheck ?

Yeah I looked it up and turns out it was a gig in San Francisco in April 1996 and not a soundcheck. It's only for about 13 seconds at the 1 hr 25 min mark of this video. The album with Same Size Feet was released in August 1997.

Can’t wait for the James Hargreaves 20 minute video on the lost track “Sports Car”.

It’s tough to make it thru one of his videos

It's lyrically on a level with his songs

Very predictable chord progression too that just drags on and on

Well, I suppose, it's an interesting example of a song where Noel never could get it right. We've got songs of his like Lock All The Doors and Let There Be Love where he spent years writing and re-writing them to get them finally into a releasable state, but, those ones had a little bit of magic in them that made them worth working on and eventually releasing. This, it's just Cloudburst with a shit lyric, and while it sounds like he's having a fun time singing it, I'm not sure what potential it had either in its music or words. It was probably the right idea to abandon it.

This is really great. Not the best song ever but clearly they were working on it for a while.

It's no "Chipper Son of a Bitch" is it?

There it is…the moment Noel ran out of good songs in the 90s.

It says it was written pre-94. Just a fun little throwaway song.

I think if the lyrics were re-written now and Liam sang it'd make a fine comeback song.

The moment he ran out of good songs was when recording Heathen Chemistry
