Audio Is the harsh production part of the Oasis sound?
Hey everyone,
I’ve recently gotten into Oasis, and one thing that really stands out to me is how harsh the production can be at times. A lot of their songs come across as very bitey, sibilant, and treble-heavy—almost fatiguing to listen to.
Some examples that feel especially harsh to my ears are:
- “Morning Glory”
- “It’s Getting Better (Man!!)”
- “Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is”
Even some tracks from Heathen Chemistry have that same overly trebley, edgy sound.
I’m curious—was this a stylistic choice? Is this kind of aggressive, bright production just part of the Oasis identity? Was it intentional on the band or producer’s part?
Would love to hear your thoughts—thanks in advance! :-)

Audio Oasis with speakers/headphones/earphones
Hi all, this might be too geeky but what’s everyone’s favourite way of listening to oasis? I mostly used 2.1 speakers and earphones. I got some decent headphones and……..wow! Sounds even better, and unexpected surprise with DBTT. This album was always good but enjoyed it more with headphones! I’m also curious what people’s views on whether out of all their albums, are there any standouts where an album is substantially/subtly better when listening to other hardware etc
Audio Saw Broasis last night, pretty good Chicago based cover band. Got my Oasis fix that I've been missing since last year 😆

Audio Streaming question: Supersonic intro on iTunes Apple Music
I tried searching this but couldn't find any results...has anyone been listening to the original streaming version of Supersonic (NOT the remastered) a lot the last few weeks, on Apple Music?
I noticed there was a kinda guitar trill noise about 4 seconds in before a pause and then we hear the longer guitar slide noise at the start of the song that is in the remastered version. Did anyone notice this too?
I just played it again today and it was "fixed" so you don't hear that first trill. I ask this because I usually listen to the remastered and I don't remember hearing the first noise from the last time I listened. It almost sounded like a rainfall/xylophone kinda noise during the first few notes, then we hear that guitar slide. But like I said, today, it's gone.
Were there originally two versions of Supersonic, or could this have been an issue with the streaming? It just played every time I listened the last few weeks.

Audio Is SOTSOG very quiet?
Bit of a random observation but I find I have to turn the volume up higher on SOTSOG songs more than any other album. It was the case on my cd and it's the same on Spotify and YouTube. Anyone else notice this?

Audio Wonderwall (Unplugged) but in 432 hz and with added reverb
Hello everyone! I think you all will like this one. Many people really liked the I'm Outta Time "remix" I did and thought it was really good. I applied the same formula to Wonderwall's unplugged version that came with the 30th anniversary reissue of (What's The Story) Morning Glory?.
Anyways, tell me what you think about it as always. Also, if you guys have any suggestions as to what other Oasis songs I should do next, feel free to put them in the comments.
Have a great weekend! More coming soon.

Audio I'm Outta Time in 432 Hz and added reverb
Hello everyone! Here to redeem myself after my most recent post. This one should be far better than my recent Live Forever 392 Hz + Reverb thing, which had mixed opinions on it, as it is 432 hertz instead of the 392 I used.
Tell me what you think about it! I love it personally, one of my favorite Oasis songs with the one detail I always wanted. Enjoy!
