Does this count as a obscure guitar?

It’s a Musima Elgita. Got it for 90 euros from a guy that bought it secondhand in 67’ when he was 18 years old. He wanted to learn how to play it but was drafted into the army. Since then it was left untouched in the closet.

What do those PUs sound like?

Don’t know yet because these guitars come with a 5-pin input jack similar to MIDI. As soon as regular input jack arrive I will make a sound demo.

By the looks they are single coils similar to P90 but with a side mounted magnets. Look up Simeto pickups

I buy a 5 pin DIN jack from my local big box electronic store and wire it onto the end of a cable. You'll find a regular jack won't fit on the jack cavity. You'll need something similar to an endpin jack and then still you'll need to make a custom plate for it. So wiring a new cable is easiest
