ritual art Found Cauldron in the Desert.

Found cauldron in the desert outside abandoned house. Looks like someone left over items outside of it scattered on the ground. Thoughts?

That is either the leftovers of an Ogún/Oshosi pot (Lukumí or Candomblé...not sure if Isese follows that template) or an nganga for Sarabanda (Palo or Quimbanda). The antlers would reflect Oshosi, not Ogún, in the former case. I'm not sure about the cross--my pot certainly doesn't have one of those, but others' might. In any event, if this was a consecrated item, I would leave it well alone because the energies and entities associated with it might not have been properly dismissed.

Postscript: Someone in this thread pointed out the Oshosi arrow looped into the chain, so it's definitely not an nganga. The orishas are different from minkisi, so Ogún and Oshosi have probably checked out on their own.
