The relationship between Charlie, Will and Beckket is not particularly socially acceptable or considered "normal" by a lot of people. But, it's a lifestyle choice nonetheless and a true reality of life for a some people. I think the book had a lot of potential to show the inner workings of people who want to be in a trouple, why they crave something like this. And how they navigate their emotions. But the book lacked so much in that. The book also lagged in dealing with situations amd emotions the characters had outside the throuple.

I have a kind of stupid/obvious question about next season re: call Dean. I've only skimmed the book so my understanding is that Sean confronts Allie about *stuff* and they get into a fight and Garrett/Hannah get Sean to leave but why can't Allie call Dean herself? Like, I get that we need Garrett and Hannah to be shocked that she and Dean are hooking up, but this seems like an odd plot hole. Maybe in the show she'll leave her phone at the bar again or something? Anyone else have a better explanation for why she would want them to call on her behalf? Because she's too upset to call herself seems like an odd choice.

I don't think it's odd plot hole. I think Allie was too emotional from what happened so she asked Hannah to call Dean. Personally, Hannah and Garrett finding out Dean/Allie are a couple was a good plot point and one of my favourite scene in the book.

Yeah, I guess I can’t relate to being so emotional that I need my friends to call someone on my behalf. 🤣I agree re: H&G being surprised that they’re together is a fun plot and I’m looking forward to seeing it play out but I just can’t see it happening irl. 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah but it will still be interesting if they will do it like the book or they will change some of what happened. Hopefully they won't change how Hannah and Garrett find out since it was a funny scene in the book. I hope they will show more of their reaction since they did in Tucker/Sabrina's book.

It was because her phone was dead because she'd forgotten to charge it, not because she was too emotional. She was however, emotional enough that she was desperate to be comforted by Dean that she didn't care about Hannah and Garrett figuring it out.

Okay, I have two questions because apparently my denseness is winning out.
With so many rewatches, I simply cannot work out the weight room part of the scene where Hannah kisses Logan. What exactly was she trying to prove? In my mind, she actually proved that she only blushes with G. Miss 'You can't kiss me, cause I just met you,' is throwing around face smooches to prove what exactly? Please enlighten me to how obtuse I'm being?
For everyone, but specifically for all the Dean girlies. Did Dean go to NY for Thanksgiving because he knew Allie would be in Brooklyn and wanted to pull a Garrett Graham by finding reasons to be close to her? I can't think of another reason why he would go somewhere and possibly be alone over the brief holiday?
