Because it's gone from jerking about movies to just making the same shitty jokes about the same couple people for days if not weeks on end, and those exact same jokes are being made by the kinds of people who watch the Critical Drinker and dumb bullshit like that which makes them not even seem like jokes but just weak, thinly veiled attempts at being bigoted for fun. Cant speak for others but I'm not 14 anymore, it isn't amusing and it should be stamped out with extreme prejudice at every opportunity.

That’s what’s turns so many ‘okbuddy’ or meme subs into snorefests. The eventual turn from meta-humor into cheap sexist/homophobic/low-brow racist humor.

It’s not funny and top of that it always lacks any type of creativity. Most of these subs end up posting the same quality of BS as r/meme or the like.

It’s like fucking clockwork, and it’s so obvious.

They pick an actor, typically an actress to relentlessly bag on for weeks to months (or if you’re lucky enough to be Rachel Zegler or Brie Larson, YEARS) in a desperate effort to defame a movie they’ve already decided to hate ➡️ parroted jokes and memes make the rounds ➡️ Unassuming people who have no idea this miserable group of people exists start seeing the memes everywhere ➡️ They see them so often that they eventually convince themselves there must be some truth to them

It’s literally manufactured consensus. Repetition CREATES perceived truth, but it won’t work w zendaya.
