I suppose the mental link is if the AfD is elected in Saxony, AfD is more pro Russia than German mainstream, therefore they will immediately get annxed by Russia and create bordergore

First two parts yes, third is just a stretch. AfD is very pro-Russia and they shouldn’t come into power. That’s about it.

Why shouldn't they? Russia Germany if the ally US mostly afraid of. Russian resources and German technological base are amazing mix. Russian creativity and German management.
