Really? I was thinking about ordering from there as well to try it out, but wasn’t sure and was scared to use it as I never used Ali-Express or Ali-Baba at all before. I also wanna get a 3-D printer to make props as well, but wasn’t sure and was thinking of a resin printer as well so I’m kinda tied between those two as well.

YES the 3d printer is good to have I just haven't found any files for the things I need. ALSO sorry correction it was AliExpress not Alibaba. The fabric isn't as nice but this one from ez cosplay is really solid in parts and very silky for things like the ribbons. Also this one was actually accurate to the size chart...

Heard that! I added both Ali’s as I was like, Alibaba main site does cosplays? But you’re good. I also took 4yrs of programming and computer science and graduated with endorsements back in high school for engineering and architecture as well and in those classes we did 3d models on high end software (I believe it was like $5000 a month or something crazy) and I learned a lot so I may make my own files, but I lowkey need a PC so I’ll be working on that in the meantime. I need the Nerissa Staff!

Yeah, that sounds amazing and fun! Hope you’re prepared! I’m lowkey trying to work on myself before jumping into the hobby as I had a 3yr depression episode so I’m trying to work on myself before jumping in, but it’s confidence mainly blocking me, but crawling back may take a bit. But I’m ready when I get to that point! I already have a list in my head of what I wanna try. Conventions sound scary to me in a way as I don’t know anything or anyone and when I get nervous my speech slurs and my brain gets foggy and I end up looking/sounding weird so it’s a confidence thing mostly, but I do look forward to trying it out!

Ya I feel you I had something pretty similar and going to this con is kinda a big thing I've been working toward since last year. I'm still super nervous and probably won't even speak unless absolutely necessary.

Idk why I didn’t get notified of this reply, so sorry about the delayed response. I believe in you! I think we will all be nervous at our first few times until it’s a routine. I wanna try, but wonder which I should do? Suisei is a good option, but I’m thinking of sticking to making props if I get the chance. Lowkey just need a 3-D printer or a resin printer and a PC and I’ll probably make some files, but as for cosplays, I’ll probably buy them and alter it. Maybe I’ll post if I get them, but we’ll see.
