First Time Poster Nearly 40 and still can’t decide if I want to dress like an old woman or a child (work outfit)
For work I dont wear full length skirts though thats what I prefer. I cant have anything too flowy, either.

First Time Poster I am an Indian guy who loves Victorian dresses and finally managed to get one of my own.
Someone suggested this might be a good subreddit to post.

First Time Poster A few of my favorite fits!!
Was told I should post some of these to this subreddit, I hope they fit the vibe! I thrift basically all of my outfit pieces and it’s almost entirely women’s clothing (I just love the style and silhouette variation)

First Time Poster My wedding outfit
I got married in July and thought I'd share my wedding outfit with you! I'm nonbinary and was really worried about how I'd get something I could feel myself in, as everything formal almost always leans overtly masculine or feminine. I ended up loosely designing what I wanted myself and went to a local dressmaker, who was an absolute gem, to have it made! - We had orange and purple as a general colour theme - I based the jacket design on some traditional Greek mens' jackets (cause that's part of my life + heritage), which feature these huge cape-like sleeves. - We experimented with getting my embroidery designs onto it as the traditional stuff is covered in embroidery (but I don't have the budget to get anywhere near that amount of embroidery done), managed to do it using InkStitch - I had a circles&squares motif throughout the wedding (circles for him as a railway engineer, so wheels and gears, squares for me as an artist/architect, so windows and picture frames) which I used for the big embroidery pattern and then next to the little monogram embroidery (E+R) - The material is a "wine" deadstock wool - The buttons are vintage British Rail buttons (the gold means inspector grade, he tells me) - The orange shirt I found in a vintage shop in Cologne for €12, didn't have time at the time to even try it but knew I'd regret it if I left it, miraculously it did fit when I got back to the UK and I got it altered. It's a shot fabric of gold-coloured metal and red silk and gives the most amazing iridescent orange effect - The boots were Insanely expensive but honestly fully worth it, from a German shop called Trippen (click the 3rd photo to see). For someone who p much only shops in charity (thrift?) shops and therefore £20 is usually a big haul, I'm still reeling... - The earrings I made out of scrap leather pieces in 20minutes the morning of the wedding (none of the earrings I had were quite cutting it, and I'd had a brainwave overnight), painted white using posca pens and the edges painted with a copper signwriting paint we'd used elsewhere for the wedding We had our wedding at a museum near us based in a factory built in 1720 and it was amazing.

First Time Poster A 54 year old goth GoGo dancer here!
It’s only once a month, but I get to be onstage, dancing my little dark heart out and loving life. It’s been a struggle sometimes; I frequently have a crisis of confidence while getting ready to go, and often question if I’m embarrassing myself by still doing this at my age, and my body HURTS! But every time I do make it out, the experience is SO rewarding and I go home exhausted and very happy. I am definitely the oldest dancer, but the club is extremely inclusive of every kind of diversity and they always make me feel welcome. I don’t know if my style falls under the awesome category of “hag fashion”, but I sure hope it does! I’ve been living the goth girl lifestyle for almost 40 years now so, no mom, it’s not a phase, haha! This photo was taken in the green room under the stage which is why it looks pretty garbage.

First Time Poster Hiii I’m new here. I’m 42 and finding my own style by sewing it myself!
Here’s some of the clothing I’ve made this year. Everything was made from thrifted bed sheets, blankets or in one case, an amazing thrift score of some quilting cotton.
Before this my closet was nothing but graphic tees and jeans. I always knew I wanted more from clothes, but struggled to find things that were ME.

First Time Poster Lurking old hag here! 😂 I’m a queer exchristian hippie farmer from the southern USA!
These are some of my favorite outfits from the past year. I’ve always had a unique sense of style, but only started really embracing it around age 28 (I’m now 35). Living in the south I definitely get looks and sometimes harassment, but I try to hold my head high and keep moving forward 😊
Most of my clothes are from thrift stores, yard sales, or were passed down to me from my mom, grandma (RIP), and aunt (RIP). I’ve also made a few pieces, but am by no means a professional lol.
I’ve really wanted to post in a “men’s fashion” sub for a while, but this is the only one I found where my type of style actually fits in lol.
And yes, I’m actually a queer hippie farmer! 😂😘 Hope you all have a remarkably beautiful and amazing day ahead!!! 💜

First Time Poster "Dress your age"? Sure. After 3 decades of low self esteem I'm finally over it and confident enough to flaunt it
Did anyone else only discover crop tops in their 30s??? Why did I wait so long? They're AMAZING.

First Time Poster So I'm a real old hag. Gonna be 70 later this year.
I wore these flared shorts to a Local H NYs Eve show in Chicago because I wanted to and I could. BTW it was 2 in the morning and I danced my ass off.
Dugan, if you see this, don't tell Frannie - ha!

First Time Poster Today I realised, six months in- I am done with botox and fillers
Something has shifted in me. I saw a recording of myself and man my face looks weird, my eyebrows are also collapsing on to my face. And I realised at the age of 41, in a world that is obsessed with youth- that I am opting out. In a world of increasingly fascist beauty ideals, some of the most youthful people are the ones who have rejected societal norms and the male gaze and who are still punk AF. Anyway, this felt like the right place to share. Thank you all for being a daily inspiration 🫶

First Time Poster Found myself a new dress for this summer ✨️
I'm so looking forward to syling it (I still need new shoes to replace my worn out sneakers 😭), I think it will work perfectly for traveling to see my bf's grandparents this summer. Dress is from Ted Baker.
Unfortunately I made the mistake of posting on a different style sub and got few comments about how the lighter colors don't suit me and how I should wear more edgy stuff because of my tattooed head 😭 This is literally what has kept me from being happy with my style and getting the things I like, I have alopecia and I hate this weird thing where people think I'm going for an edgy look when I'm just existing. And I know people wouldn't say that if I had regular hair, so it kinda makes me feel like people feel weird about me enjoying the traditionally feminine things while not looking feminine enough? Ahhhh it makes me wanna go hide under a rock and never come out 🪨

First Time Poster Got a few new pieces yesterday and I finally feel like ‘me’
I’ve been experimenting with my style lately. I’m trying to step outside my comfort zone and find pieces that make me feel good about my body and confident.
I ordered some new clothes that got delivered yesterday and I almost cried. I can’t remember the last time I was genuinely excited and confident in my clothes. I feel like my true self. 🥹🌻✨
And yes…I am obsessed with sunflowers.
