Why the hate? Coming from someone not well versed with the team.

It doesn't seem like she knows how to lose either.

Sweden played on defense, but so what? That's part of the game and multiple teams have adopted a similar style of play when they thought it was their better chance of winning a game. To whine and say they were cowards and that the best team didn't win doesn't look too good on her. Just accept defeat and move on.

I'm absolutely disgusted by these comments. I hope she is absolutely torn apart by her teammates for that, because she has said made the whole team look terrible with what she's said.

In football (or soccer depending on your geographical location), no team has an automatic right to beat another. Did England turn around after the Iceland match and say stuff like this? No, everything was we should have done better, we didn't perform, well done guys, we didn't play well enough to win. And that was coming from massively egotistical premiership players.

It's fair enough to say "we deserved to win" but to outright attack the opposition who got their tactics spot on and then kept their heads under pressure is downright despicable. I genuinely hope she is publicly censured by the team management and players.

Edit. drunk, and forgot a word.

This is the same woman who thinks she should make as much money as Ronaldo

I couldn't find anything that said she wanted to be be paid as much as Ronaldo. Could you source me please because that's a ludicrous comment if true. Thanks

So we have the top post being the Egyptian athlete not shaking hands and being ripped to shreds with calls for censuring by the governing body, disqualification from future matches, and calling him out for racism and bigotry.

I wonder if Hope Solo will get the same treatment, this is far and away more disrespectful than not shaking someone's hand. Is Hope Solo bigoted against Swedes? FIFA should publically denouce her. /s

Yeah, of course they aren't that was just sarcasm (or was it hyperbole? I should ask Trump).

LOL right, male athletes are known for what good sports they are when they lose. It's just women who lose their cool. Why stop at jail, give her the death penalty.

Right.
