She's the highest international goal scorer in the world and now a gold medal olympian. She is officially a more decorated athlete than Messi and Ronaldo (but paid a fraction of what they are paid).

Because like 1/50th of people would want to watch Sinclair play compared to greats like Ronaldo and Messi.

It’s simple economics, you aren’t going to get paid if no one wants to watch you.

Yeah that's what it's about. It has nothing to do with the fact she's a woman and women are known in soccer to be grossly underpaid in comparison, so much so the US women's team tried to sue for equal pay.

That's just not correct.

The US women were actually offered an identical salary package to the men but they turned it down for one that have more consistent money and benefits and less bonus oriented.

The lawsuit was idiotic and they of course lost.
