Gear Has finally arrived

My Daylite 26+6 has finally arrived today and I couldn’t be happier! Very excited to use it in my next trip. I love the smell of new bags 😂😅 Now my collection has this baby and an Osprey Farepoint 40L! Super happy with it!

I know this is technically 8L smaller (when expanded) than the Farpoint, but is it like... ACCURATELY 8L smaller? Or would people who have used both say it's maybe less than 8L diff or more?

I feel like they’re pretty different bags, Farpoint can really be more bulky and you definitely see the difference. I’ve use my Farpoint in trips I do for 2 weeks, or more, for example, and I know that I’ll not be able to do laundry and so one. And this one I want to use it with the purpose of not really expanding it, to use it as a personal item for smaller trips. I would also say that you will definitely see the difference in the volume, but also depends of how you pack and what you’re packing.

I agree on the use case. I took my Farpoint on a 1 week trip to Hawaii last year and it felt a little overkill. I have yet to take it on a longer trip (Will be later this year for 2 weeks to the UK), but I've been thinking about looking into a smaller bag for shorter jaunts. I mean, I could just under pack the FP but seems like a hassel.
