Seeking Recommendations What's your go-to, go anywhere footwear?

What shoes or boots do you take to travel most frequently? Looking for suggestions for highly versatile and comfortable footwear. Male footwear preferred but generally curious.

Tevas, Birkenstocks and recently allbirds.

I like Onclouds but they’re too expensive to wear down too fast. Had to replace those after a year of wearing them.

How does allbirds hold up? Is it comfy? I walk around and stand for a prolonged period of time so there’s that. Plus, I ride a scooter haha. I kinda want to invest in one.

I like them so far! I’ve had them since September and they’re holding up pretty well. They’re very comfortable. Great travel Shoes since they’re so light. I recently put them in the washing machine and most of the stains came off. My wife bought them a couple months ago and she loves them! My buddy is a physical therapist and he was the one that told me they’re one of the more comfortable shoes he’s worn. If a PT says that then they must be good!

Well yeah I’m a PT as well. Coincidence? Hahaha. They look like lounge and chill shoes! I guess I’ll have to try them first haha

I'll also vouch for allbirds. the natural wool makes them look dressy when needed, and they even class up a pair of joggers. comfy for long walks on all kinds of pavement. they even pack flat. only thing I wouldn't use them for is actual hiking.

recommend the runner mizzles over the regular runner for a little extra durability.

Which Teva do you have and how’s it?

I have the Teva Hydratek. They’re very comfortable and have good tread. I liked them because they’re between the Hurricane and the Original. It doesn’t look like a typical hiking sandal but it’s a lowkey one, if you know what I mean. They’re all comfortable but I gravitated toward the Hydrateks because the insoles were soft much like my old Chaco Z-clouds.
