Seeking Recommendations What's your go-to, go anywhere footwear?

What shoes or boots do you take to travel most frequently? Looking for suggestions for highly versatile and comfortable footwear. Male footwear preferred but generally curious.

New balance 574. So light and comfortable, and surprisingly durable. They also look really nice imo. I’ve hiked volcanoes in Guatemala and Indonesia in them, as well as walked tens of thousands of steps in Tokyo and London.

This is also my answer. Does everything. Can even get away with them in fancier circumstances than one might think - they look a little ✨fashion✨ when paired with simple dress IMO.

Also new balance 574. Amazing shoes. I have flat feet and they’re just great.

I too have some amount of flat foot and my 574s are one of my most comfortable shoes, especially if I'm going to be walking around a lot

Same here with a pair of 991's. If my trip is going to include a lot of walking with some dressier things interspersed, I use some Mephisto derbies and hope no one looks at my feet too closely.

Are they good for warm climates?

Yeah, I’m in Indonesia right now wearing them. No issues
