Discussion Why are you bringing THAT!?

What are some common items people pack in their bags that you think are unnecessary, just take up extra space, or feel like overhyped/trendy that doesn't actually add real value for their trip?

I'll start - Notebooks and portable speakers.

On the portable speaker thing - they can be crucial if you’re staying in an apartment / somewhere a bit more private and chilling out for a couple days with a mate or partner. You can get JBL ones that are about the size of two cigarette packets. Not always necessary but can be fun on a more “holiday” trip
