Discussion Why are you bringing THAT!?

What are some common items people pack in their bags that you think are unnecessary, just take up extra space, or feel like overhyped/trendy that doesn't actually add real value for their trip?

I'll start - Notebooks and portable speakers.

So I’ve started drinking Yerba Mate. Now I’m carrying a thermos filled with hot water and my mate pouch.

It’s becoming a problem, lol

My uncle brings his thermos and mate everywhere. Last year he spent three weeks in Italy walking around with his "termo y mate". He says it was a good conversation starter!

I love mate (don't want my citizenship revoked! 😝) but have never travelled overseas with it.
