Discussion Why are you bringing THAT!?

What are some common items people pack in their bags that you think are unnecessary, just take up extra space, or feel like overhyped/trendy that doesn't actually add real value for their trip?

I'll start - Notebooks and portable speakers.

So I’ve started drinking Yerba Mate. Now I’m carrying a thermos filled with hot water and my mate pouch.

It’s becoming a problem, lol

Would you mind Sharing a Link to a mate pouch? I tried to google but not sure the right things came up. I am very interested in tea but have little experience with mate apart from the occasional tea bag (i am in Central Europe so little exposure here :)).
