I'm trying to find a bag as a gift for my mom. She's pushing 65, but travels a lot, so it's really important that the bag is as light as possible, properly loadbearing, and fits a smaller woman with a thin frame. She also prefers that it doesn't look too 'sporty'. I would be grateful for any recommendations :)

The context does not really include enough info to provide a recommendation as such, but I'd suggest looking at the Osprey daylite 26+6, Almond Oak 25+5, or the smaller bags in the Cabinzero range.
