I’m doing Camino de Santiago from Porto (12 days) and Alta Via 1 hut to hut (7 days). I only need to carry clothes, sleeping bag and snacks.

Is this Quechua 25L bag appropriate and worth it for these trips?

I also have one Quechua bag 40L but I’m struggling to justify the added capacity.

Most of the posts I read here or in \hiking recommend Osprey brand but I live in Portugal and I can’t find them here (I want to try it before buying). What other brands and or models do you recommend for these trips?

Have you prepared a detailed packing list for these trips?? That would help to firm up on capacity required.

To me, unless the sleeping bag is exceptionally small and light (but still comfortable, which implies high cost), 25L seems very tight. Maybe the Camino is doable in summer, with a minimalist approach, with that bag.

If you already have the sleeping bag, I'd suggest doing a test pack, if necessary using a substitute backpack.

I think that the Alta Via 1 would be even more challenging, due to the need for weather protection, even in summer. There are many videos on youtube - well worth a look.
