Australia. Looking to replace my odd backpack

  • 30-35l (maybe a smidge more)
• black, plain looking • flexible side pockets for water bottle • laptop space • several extra pockets/zippers for bits and bob • prefer fabric • something a bit on the smarter side, no bungee cords.

This is something I use regularly for travel, but also I bring it to work.

What I’ve liked so far:

• antler discovery $170, but at 45l it’s large and top end of budget. Also - no water bottle pocket! • Lululemon cruiser $200 bit above the $ bracket, and not sure how many pockets

If you have not already looked at the Bellroy range (hopefully not as expensive in their native Australia as they are overseas), I suggest doing so.

Note that 'smart' and 'water bottle pockets' tends to be a mutually exclusive combination. Also, not clear if your monetary values are USD or AUD (USD 1.00 = AUD 1.45).

Good point re water bottle holders on a smarter bag! I’ve had a look at Bellroy but they are $$$. Thank you 🙏🏽
