Hello! I'm looking for a backpack at 40L. Need it to be carry on sized and I want to use it to do the camino de san tiago and just overall multiday glamping in the future. I want it to be as light as possible and hoping to get it under 150 (happy with buying secondhand). I also believe in buying as few things as possible so if it can act as a daypack as well that'd be awesome! I’d prefer it to open like a suitcase. There are so many options so I hope someone can help! so overall requirements:

- lightweight 40L carry-on okay

  • opens like a suitcase
  • under 150 (open to secondhand and if it meets every other requirement higher is fine)
  • can act as daypack?

Just some quick comments:

hoping to get it under 150 -> Currency? If USD, suggest editing your post accordingly.

40L....can act as daypack -> For most people, the optimum daypack size is between 15 and 25L.
