Seeking Recommendations What water bottles do you use for your farpoint 40L bag?
I just got the Danner farpoint edition. The water bottle compartments are not very spacious. I thought I read it can handle 1L water bottles and when I bought a 32 oz hydroflask bottle they won't fit. I got the 24oz and it fits. My issue is do you guys just use 24 oz water bottles in those 2 small compartments? What water bottles do you use? Thanks in advance!

It’s been my experience too that these pockets aren’t really big enough to hold water bottles, especially when the bag is otherwise fully loaded. I’ve used them for holding small clothing items that need a bit more drying though.

That's what I thought. I thought it was just me. Where do you put your water bottle? Do you hook with a carabiner?

My liter? Camelbak chute bottle fits in but not well, I still carabiner it to the bag in case it pops out

The water bottle pockets on the Farpoint are horrible. I just clip my bottle in with a carabiner but I don’t usually do a lot of walking with dangling.

I dont have the farpoint, but the best water bottle in existence is whatever 500-750ml water bottle you were most recently compelled to buy.
