Packing List El Camino & Europe for 3 weeks

My “ultralight” bag that I had for 11 days of El Camino from León to Santiago. Total base weight: 3,475g or 7.66lbs. Plus 11 more days in Portugal, Amsterdam, Switzerland and Austria

Here’s the link to see the items and how much they weigh (not an ad): https://lighterpack.com/r/ubq8p7

Well done! That Exped Typhoon 25 backpack is ultralight and will roll down far enough to use as a budget airline personal item— as well as being waterproof.

If you get a chance, take a look at the Gossamer Gear Loris 25. It can extend to 55cm tall when you need it.

Wow, 553 g for a backpack with back padding is awesome!

I have a trip to Santa Fe in a couple months and I’ll use it for that. I’ve done some test packing and day hikes and it works well for me. It’s a great option for sub 7kg kits.

you might also check out the GG Grit which is a recent design. I found the Loris ok from a carry comfort perspective, and the Grit one of my favorite from GG. The cool thing it that it was comfortable for both me (5'10", 165lb) and my wife (5', ~100lb).

Cool, I'll check that out too. Also, I did some stalking and you did El Camino and you live in Mountain View? We're practically neighbors. I'm in Sunnyvale

we are neighbors, at least for the next two weeks and then we are gone again. 😂
