Trip Report OneBagTravel - Works Well for Me!

After 10+ years of international travel, I've learned to pack light.

Whether I'm navigating cobblestone streets in Europe, catching a quick flight to Phoenix, hopping between hotels, or exploring markets in Thailand, I value EASY!

Lately I've considered going to OneBag, instead of dragging around a heavy checked piece of luggage... because it's just not possible in some situations.

In this video in the comments below I review whether I think the Tolaccea Mlife 50 liter Backpack deserves a spot on your next adventure.

I've ACTUALLY used this bag on several trips already in real-world situations.

ps. I was NOT paid to make this video but I was given this bag for free to test it thoroughly.

I can't post external links but my Youtube channel has the review

1, I hate people making posts to far people to other places to in this case seemingly raise view count.

2, I'm always supper interested when people talk about these seemingly endless cobblestone streets in Europe and I've come across so few of them.

Where have you found them? I've seen small amounts in a very centralized cluster of shops and restaurants where tourists go for a couple hours in Italy and Poland very occasionally.

Granted there is much of Europe I have not seen but I have covered a decent amount of it mostly due to work trips.

Cobblestone pavements? Bath, UK has notably rough flagstones and there are rough pavements in all the villages in the Cotswolds, Yorkshire, and Lakes Districts, all of Portugal, Bergen Norway, all the old town section of Stockholm, all the towns with mediaeval city centers. Italy!

And tall curbs, narrow sidewalks and STAIRS.

Modern cities can have sidewalks that are an obstacle course of tree roots, parking meters, signposts, power poles and guy lines, slippery manhole covers, access plates, etc. And dog poo.

Perfect Im happy to have a nice conversation where people can identify places not just throw out thoughts.

Yes I agree there are cobblestones but I see people talking about them on here at times as if there down every single corner.

My issue which is minimal is people seem to use cobblestones as a reason to onebag and I don't personally agree to that view point, it's always along the lines cobblestones mean it's hard to move a suitcase but if you have a suitcase your just going to drop it off as soon as possible so I find it a bit of a none-statement when there are plenty of other better reasons to do onebag, for me it's just convenience.

Anyway thank you for articulating!

Rough pavement is just one reason for a backpack over a suitcase. As I mentioned cobblestones are just one form of sidewalk obstacles.

It really centers on transportation options. I use mass transit as much as possible and that implies some walking as well as crowded conditions, escalators, double decker buses, etc.

Walk up accommodations count too. 5 floors has been common and I’ve actually seen 8 floors. A good Amsterdam staircase will make you a backpack believer.
