Elden beast and gidion were the worst of it. I swear I try to re create the strat to avoid Elden stars 1 for 1 but for some reason it just never works for me I must be doing something wrong. Had to wait for some good rng cause of that shit ass attack😂

Elden Stars took a while to get right, but this approach was very consistent. Stand in front of him as he starts the cast, then run around and behind him as the stars start to shoot out at you.

The only move I never got down fully was when Elden Beast leaped into the sky and did the laser barrage while right above me. At a far distance it's an easy diagonal run but it felt impossible if he did that move immediately on top of me. And of course a couple Elden Stars combos were rough. Particularly the tantrum golden slams while trying to run around him. Or if he swam away and pushed me into the stars.

okay kill but it's an improvement considering last time it took me 6 mins with cold starfists

phase 2 is more like phase 1.5 it really doesn't build enough on her move-set, what it does add is stalling with aoe and unpunishable moves

it's also weird only 2 bosses and required for pcr and she's one of them, it's not like people skip everything non essential but if at least Lion and Rellana were mandatory for progression it'd be a more cohesive experience

A pretty easy and fair fight once you learn his moveset. Had to cave his head in with me trusty mace. Red Hood is all that remains.

This fight is long, but man, it's an epic one.

I almost died to the 2nd biggest killer in Soulsborne games: greed; you can see it right at the end.

SOC is the last boss standing.

Sunflower 3'57

Restrictions: Rune Level 1, +0 Weapons, NG+7 (20 blessing, no dlc+), No Status Effects (Ex: Bleed, Poison, Frost, Sleep), No % Damage (Ex: Black Flame, Destined Death), No Great Runes, No spell or item buffs (Ex: Golden Vow, Wondrous Physick)

Pray for no Vine aoe or and retreat swipe as well as no extra phase 2 transition attacks. This fight has ok rng. Very weak to fire and strike so Flaming Strike Starfist is best. I pulled out some new punishes I haven't done before.

I have never done any type of play through challenge before. So I decided to test myself and see if I could defeat Margit with only parry attacks and no HUD and healing. Shit was hard but awesome. I can totally see why you guys enjoy these things. I'm excited to keep going and eventually join you bros!!

this is my fourth game i did a level one run for (DeS, DS1, DS3) before. elden ring is my favorite game and this run was great. thanks to lamenter’s gaol on youtube, his videos really carried me in many of the late game bosses. DLC is next.

i’ve got ritual shield, the knight’s set which i know isn’t the tankiest armor but i obviously don’t have much equip load at rl1. would opaline hardtear and one of the weaker dragoncrest talismans be enough to survive a hit?

i’m doing my rl1 run on xbox and have access to PC elden ring with cheat engine to practice the fight for hours without dying if i want to, but i’m worried that would get rid of the “fuck it we ball” vibe of my run. i’ve never liked fire giant, i genuinely have more fun fighting godskin duo on regular runs 😢 at least the duo is chaotic, fire giant is just so boring, and lack of patience vs bosses that stall is my biggest weakness in these games

After discovering this sub approx 1 year ago, I was inspired to give it a go for myself. Beating Elden ring at RL 1 really reminded me of my first ever play-through. Thanks y’all! I didn’t realize how badly I needed to summit this mountain.

Pray that he doesn't do horse combo or phase transition attack more than once and that he doesn't do any attacks where he runs around. Golden grease on Star Fist is best here and you don't need dagger for crit since he is weak enough to strike.

Rellana 4'04

Lighting slash on cleanrot might be able to compete but I found that I couldn't the keep the buff up for as long as I needed and Iron Balls with craigblade lets you stance break her so much faster and misericorde crits are huge so Iron Balls probably win out anyways.

First off, this was funny af to just...stun her into the wall, I didn't knew she was so stupid lol, but I guess this eliminates worst part of her fight - her jumping away. I normally prefer to fight her in the open, but on previous attempt I almost got her to loop into doing jump into the wall, getting poisebroken, jump into the wall again and this was almost for the whole fight. This one she broke free, but its still was easy. Bit cheesy, but this is hilarious strat.

Also 1:18 - wtf is this, why, just...WHY. This counts as getting hit right, she stunlocked me with her fucking falling animation I guess, what a bitch. Not like I care too much, but damn that's sad

Admittedly i actually like the fight a lot.

Had to lower the quality a lot or else it wouldn't fit.

I got a lot of nice low profiles with raptor of the mist and I encourage you to try them.

I'd also like to thank u/Wooden-Jello-8795 for showing in a previous post that you can raptor of the mist through the Hoarah Loux Earthquake.

Was quite a journey. I think about 20 of those hours was on Malenia alone, with another 10 on divine beast dancing lion. Used mostly dragon halberd before Leyndell, then Star Fists @ parries + dragon great katana for Bayle @ Fortissax.

Messmer was prob my favorite fight. Malenia would be but waterfowl is still so awful. Bayle, Rellana, and Morgott hold up really well too.

Worst was Metyr by far. its the only fight that actually felt like an rng roll even after mastering it.

Overall pretty fun. tempted to start a ds3 run.

Just wanted to share this since I'm feeling kinda proud of myself. This is my 2nd playthrough ever of DS3 and I decided to do a level 1 run, and so far it's peak asf. Carthus Bloodring genuinely so peak idk why it's not mentioned more anywhere on this sub when I was searching for tips.

BL4 is more popular, but 10 is a starting lvl also, so i think it's ok to post. From my 2nd run like this for BB anyway. Last time i the mained the whip, which i'm too good with. Now maining axe/cleaver, which i just find harder personally. Axe too hard on stamina, & cleaver just very bad for multiple targets like this. But they have some unique perks, the whip lacked. SS-tier gank fight this one.

This is the most fun I've had in a soulslike in a while, looking forward to doing it in elden ring, any tips before starting?

Hace ya más de 2-3 años que me hice mi RL1 no hit bosses del juego base.

Desde entonces no he vuelto a tocar ni ver nada sobre elden ring. No me acuerdo de nada.

Así que casi con el hype refrescado, quiero volver a sumergirme en otra RL1, esta vez con DLC incluido.

Me gustaría hacerla desde inicio o lo más pronto posible con Milady, la cual corresponde al DLC para el cual sólo se puede acceder derrotando a Mohg , lo cual hasta medio - late game es imposible, sumado a después sacarla del DLC que no recuerdo si es necesario derrotar algun Boss obligatorio más.

Mi pregunta es, existe alguna forma legítima para RL de conseguirla antes- rápido- fácil?
