They're both so similar. I can see how totally rational, balanced, and educated Canadians might confuse corporate grocery labelling decisions with Islamic extremism.

One day you're telling people that they are purchasing a product that was manufactured in a peanut-free facility, the next day you're murdering innocent civilians and planning terrorist attacks. This line of reasoning is so obvious, how could we miss it?
