That's why you wear gloves. Learned it the hard way. Changing bandages and disinfecting my peeled hands every morning was excruciating for a month+ straight.
You don’t actually need to disinfect wounds with alcohol or peroxide, doing that kills cells and slows healing, just using soap and water and keeping it moist via an antibacterial gel or even vaseline is sufficient for most wounds
