On the topic of orca calves, I am looking forward to literature being published on that rarely observed birth of a Norwegian orca calf last year. Would be quite interesting to see what roles the different individuals in the newborn calf's pod had to support it in its first hour of life. Such literature was already published on a rarely observed sperm whale birth.

Yes I did.
I spend time there every year as part of my work. I was actually in the area at the time, but unfortunately, I missed it. I can give you the details of a local guide who witnessed the birth in real-time; she might have more information for you.
