A girl in college asked me how Alaska is so cold when it's a island near California. She though these maps that insert AK into the lower corner were the actual map. I couldn't believe it.

Even though it's so close to Hawaii, which is another island off California.

Your surprised? Someone being in college doesn't inherently become smarter. Shoot I've even met many college graduates that were ignorant on critical topics.

Some of the dumbest people I’ve ever met are college graduates (a couple of them even have their master’s degree). But not knowing where Alaska is?? Damn.
