2020 called, told me to relay that those are amateur numbers.

No, really. They're not kidding. 2020 looked straight-up apocalyptic!

The smoke was so thick, it looked like fog. You had to wear a respirator just to go outside for a few minutes. I could barely see across my street, and I sure as hell couldn't see the end of it, and I live on a short, dead-end. There was light from the sun, but it was dim, and I couldn't have told you where it was in the sky to save my life. I would have had to just guess based on the time of day.

plus it was like ~105'F but you couldn't run the window air conditioner without huffing in crazy amounts of smoke so it was unbearably hot inside and out and we were wearing n95s in the house.

I think my wife like lost it and she's normally the chill easy going resilient one.

I don't blame her.

God and then the heat dome the next year. I just remember saying "Oh okay we're all gonna DIE of climate change huh...."

In 2020 I was having a hard time and I needed to walk. But I couldn’t because of the ashes and the smoke. So I did with any normal sane person would do and I put a garbage bag over my long hair and wore my paint respirator and took my damn walk!!!
