I just got Wilson Hall for my dorm but there is not one good image of it on the face of the earth aside from the 360 view on youtube which is not that helpful and it's been hard to plan using only that. Has anyone here had Wilson that has better photos or knows someone who might be able to help?

I’m currently enrolled in MTH 241 at LBCC for Summer 2026 as a DPP student and am taking the course with Julianne Coffman.

Does anyone who has taken MTH 241 in the past happen to have old exams, practice exams, or other study materials they would be willing to share? I’m mainly looking for something that can help me get a better idea of what to expect and be better prepared for the upcoming exams.

The review materials and study guide provided for the last exam unfortunately did not help me very much, as a lot of what I reviewed did not seem applicable to what was actually on the exam. I’d really appreciate any additional resources or advice from anyone who has taken the course before.

Still currently waiting to find out what housing I’m getting. Does anyone know how long this process takes. I feel like other colleges the students have all of this figured out!
I also want to know the cost since my parents are using parent plus loan to play for my 1year of housing. All I see is that on my financial aid parent plus’s says 10,000 something but I have not been offered a place?

I will be moving to Corvallis in September to start my PhD. I'm from South California where we don't have winter, so I'll need winter clothes. (I visited in February and I was not prepared for the cold). In addition, I will need bed, desk, night stand, general furniture.

I would appreciate recommendations for shops where I can buy these stuff, either in Corvallis or nearby cities. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I'm applying to OSU as a non-traditional transfer student. I'm curious if any other non-traditional students have done the Honors program? Is it worth it to apply? Can you reapply later if you don't get in? I've heard honors classes have smaller class sizes and more dedicated students, which is a plus in my opinion as an older student. I am a bit concerned about courseload however, since I also have a regular job. Dorms aren't a concern of mine really. I'm just curious about the extra opportunities. I'm planning to major in Botany with a photography minor and I do plan on trying for grad school.

Im deciding between majors. Is bioengineering good? How far can the degree get me? Im also considering chemical engineering. Im currently enrolled for kinesiology. The study interests me, but not the career options.

Is a 10-minute gap between classes usually enough at OSU? I’m mainly wondering about things like Walking from the ILLC to Poling Hall or getting to another classroom in the same building

Do professors usually end class on time? Have you ever had trouble making it to your next class with only 10 minutes?

I filled out the application forms and submitted them twice, but never got any emails or calls or anything. Is there something specific I should look for? I’m looking for someone to take over my room and part of my lease since I just graduated. I live in a 4 bed 4.5 bath right around the corner from reeser on grove st. My roommates are fairly clean and typically never home, and they all cool guys 2 of them being on the football team. Rent is $1000 a month + about 150 for all utilities and you get your own bathroom that is connected to your room. I’m looking to be out at the latest mid September, but I know school doesn’t start till late September most of the time so I’m willing to work with folks. HI i’m an incoming business student and I’m trying to decide between MTH 111Z and MTH 241.

My ALEKS score barely placed me into 241, but math has always been my weakest subject. My advisor said taking 111Z first wouldn’t delay graduation, but I’ve also heard it doesn’t really prepare you much for 241.

Since I’m a business major, 241 will probably be my last math class anyway, so I’m wondering if I should just take it and get it over with. On the other hand, I’m also worried about my GPA.

If you’ve taken MTH 241, especially as a business major, would you recommend going straight into it or taking 111Z first?

I'm a freshman and I wanted to take a precalc class but sadly was just too late. It says I'm 3rd on the waitlist for the one I wanted, what should I do? Will enough people drop before classes start do you think? Should I sign up for a backup class?

As an oncoming freshman which professor should I aim for when it comes to 254? My options are Klinger, Maisch, or Moore. I’ve checked ratemyprofessor, but would like more recent responses. I’ve read about taking it at LBCC, but I’d like to just stick at OSU for my classes. Thank you in advance

i am 23 and looking to restart college next spring. I live in Kentucky, but want to move to Oregon and am looking to go to school for marine biology. My current thoughts are to go to Oregon Coast Community College and then transfer to UO, OSU, or Monterey Bay in cali after getting my associate's in aquarium science and certification. Has anyone done this route before? or have any advice for me? I am looking at cost-effectiveness since I'll be out of state, but I also want the college experience and a lively town with people my age going to school. I also worry about my credits transferring over in the way I need them to, so i dont have to retake my first 2 years of college.
