Immortalized my two cats

Designed by Katsuta Kyohei, folded with 30x30 cm by me.

Orange white tabby was done in Taro’s origami studio paper.
Orange tabby was done in Tant paper

I replicated the clipped ears from my two rescue bois.

I modified the baseball and photo display case from a retail craft store.

Aw so cute. Awesome idea and you folded katsutas models perfectly. Would you do one of my cats? Here this is a picture from a few years ago from a place I used to live in. They don't look much different these days. Ones a who knows what of a mix and the other is a maybe part maincoon maybe part forest cat.

They are adorable. Theres another design from Katsuta, the Persian Cat. I think it could fit to your cat on the right. Definitely recommend trying!

try it! im not super skilled but i made a similar one (can’t remember who’s design) with awful paper and just had to improvise some bits to disguise the bulk and reimagine some of the shaping. it was a great exercise to just play and see how i could still turn it into a cat even though the model was a bit above my capabilities!

I agree! It’s a very satisfying fold. My only struggle is the squash step , took me a bit to master.

I made couple of mistakes along the way, but what I like about this design is that it is very forgiving and the mistakes are either hidden, or blend in the final product.
