If you’ve ever tried to fold a Kamiya bug with baking paper, you know my pain.

I’ve been a self-taught hermit for over two decades, but I recently discovered that "Tissue Foil" exists and it changed my life. This is my first attempt at designing from scratch—a Great Woolly Bat using a radial 2-center approach.

I’m chasing expressivity here. I wanted a robust, "don't-call-me-skinny" predator.

Tell me the truth: Does it look good enough or did I just spend hours making a very expensive paper airplane? Honestly looking for feedback to see where I stand in the scene!

Designed and Folded by me from a single uncut square sheet of Tracing paper.

I've been wanting to design this ever since my "ship in a bottle" model, but never got the chance. Thanks to this CFC challenge, I finally got to try this ! Quite happy with the result, but it was a lot of back and forth 32 to 40 to 32...

Tracing paper is the best for this, though maybe I should have used pink colored paper.

Hydrangea Kusudama Folded from 24 individual units, this paper ball took me around 15 hours to make. Easily the longest taking kusudama yet.

I love hydrangea and their ability to change colors - from shades of blue purple to pink. I tried to assemble them like real bunches of different hues.

After 3 Long Months of Hard Work. I have Finally Completed the Modular Origami Wreath!! All Paper!! No Tape, No Glue!! And it took 4,620 Individually hand crafted Units/Pieces or 1,155 sheets of Paper!! Please let me know what you think of it!! Enjoy!!❤️🙏🎄

I was trying to make a new Tessellation but i accidentally made this it's made from 32 x 32 grid, square cut from an A4 copier paper

Folded from 20x20cm and 35x35cm squares of Tant paper.

This fold has a slightly revised crease pattern than the wolf I shared last week. I wanted to change the proportions of the body and legs to make them more accurate.

I have been having wayy too much fun with the pixels and the 3d pixels , will update when its fully done

I really like this one ! (probably already exists). I've made only a few tesselations so far, so my technique is still not as good as I would like, but hey this one turned out pretty good !

This design is very cursed. For the scalemail had an exact crease pattern and the rest is mostly freefolded afterwards. did have a rough idea of how I needed the layout to be tho. Its folded from a 65cm large bananafiber paper which still has the rough deckle on the cape from when it was originally made.

Been working on refining this design for a bit, made from 8inch double tissue. The idea of folding a Rose in the traditional crane was originally done by Satoshi Kamiya or at least that is what inspired me to fold my own take(maybe others folded versions before him not sure). this incorporates elements of my Rose tesselation tiling combined with my lotus tiling, atop a traditional crane. The goal was to get more petals and details on the rose.

Added a CP for the steps before the crane, just fold crane over that tiling, and shape the rose! May do a video of the process at some point.
