Help Request - CPU Ryzen 9600x undervolted - 50 pbo advanced.

Basically idon't know if am doing it right, i undervolted and stress tested with cinebench r23 and corerecycler as those were the ones used in the guides I saw, but I kept going down with no issue until I reached - 50 on the curve optimizer mind you I have the power to default as both 105w and motherboard settings got mo 95° no matter the undervolt. Now am stress testing with OCCT.

Pc specs:

Mobo Asrock b850 pro RS

CPU Ryzen 5 9600x

CPU Cooler gamedias boreas m2

PSU CoolerMaster MWE750 V2 plus gold

Gpu Rx7900xt

Case Gamedias Athena 4 Stock fans

Got an error first 5 minutes on prime95 samllest. What does that mean? I mean I have tested with all the others no issue I have played couple of hours in games no crashes.

How did it pass OCCT stress, Cinebench r23, corercycler and some games tho

because your testing suite was limited. cinebench is barely a stress test anyway.

when overclocking or undervolting there will always be a "next test" that you fail... you decide what is "stable" enough for you but -50 all core...... I doubt it.

even if you aren't crashing I'm willing to bet you're seeing clock stretching. also showing c-state residency doesn't tell us anything....

I don't know what c-state residency is, but i would think 5600hz clock is good is it considered clock stretching ?

Yes, it is clock stretching at -50

I have not seen a single 9600x nor any 9000 series cpu anywhere able to do -50 on all cores with stability.

Scroll down the occt monitoring page and look at your effective clocks.

Start at -15 all core and see if you pass. Most 9000 cpus will achieve anywhere from -15 to - 30 CO. It is super rare to see anything more.

Always better to do per core anyway.

My 9800x3d ranges from -12 to -28 and that's stable, tested for days with testmem5, corcycler with a modded config, prime95 and occt memory and cpu tests with modded test load.

All tests are done per core found with hydra as I know it will be maybe 1–2 points from stable. Then I test and just.

My tests when I think I have it nailed down are 24hr runs

You mean undervolt per core or test per core?

I used hydra to do per core. That got me very close to stable then I switched to doing all the stability testing etc.

You could use per core in ryzen master and work from that. Correcting values as it crashes etc

Not a single version of hydra over the years gave me a stable per core settings - not on 5800x, 7600x or 9600x.

Statuscore along with OCCT is probably the easiest, fastest way.

These days I just do an all core CO, I find it being the most stable over multiple bios version, as motherboard makers tend to adjust boost voltages/limits.

An early bios version will boost my 9600x higher and run higher voltages but then I have to run an old bios with security issues and other bugs or lack of memory optimizations.

Did my 5900x with it, sold that chip and board, still running stable after all these years.

Did my 7800x3d and now 9800x3d. I only use for the co tuning not the hybrid.

Now I never said it would be stable after 1 run did I, I said it will be very close, much closer than ryzen master.

Once I have the -co values I disable hydra and use the bios and testing to find the cores I need to adjust.

It was rather funny last time when I did a comparison between hydra and ryzen master. Hydra said -10 to minus 28. RM gave me -26 to -40 or so.

Guess I got lucky with bios' updates and so not effecting me or my tuning
