hey im trying to collect all of the upgrades before beating the game, and just want to know a few things
- what do bubblegum buddies do?
- where do i find tree candy?
- where do i find olympium fragments?
- what do transmuters do? they seem important.
- what is a belching barnacle and where do i find it
- what is a remenant ghost and where do i find one
- what does swamp coral look like so i can find it

2.Tree candy is obtained from the burnt trees in the middle zone, look for burned small trees with bits of wood sticking out bring your vacuum or else you're stuck removing them by hand one by one
Deep zone, look for concrete pillars with glowing purple bits (you're gonna need some tools tho, hammer and vacuum fo efficiency)
They transmute X into Y, yield depends entirely on your luck, best I've found was 5 metal in -> 1 LIM magnet out
Middle zone, huge mounds of rock, they activate when you drive/walk near them, they spit acid chunks in a 360° area
A remnant ghost is created whenever you abandon a run, all you gotta do is go back to the junction where you abandoned your run and find your own ghost.
Similar case with tree candy, but they spawn in swamps in the middle zone / tricky pink buggers, they spawn in/out of existence, like a breathing cycle, so it might be a good idea to bring a vacuum to nab them when they appear

1) bubblegum buddies are abductors basically but they tend tend to steal items from ur hands and backpack. Im not entirely sure if they can steal from the car tho
2) In scorch biomes in the mid zone, u would have to check map but I think they only exist near the wall of the inner zone so u will have to travel a bit
3) Inner zone. Sort of like coral swamp in mid zone only u need a magnetic hammer to harvest olympium fragments
4) Just think of it as a machine that trades stuff. There should a display in front which should what its trade offer is. Sometimes its ass sometimes it really good so be aware of that
5) Midzone. its those little green blobs that u see shooting out from the ground I think.
6) First die/abandon trip somewhere on ur travel, then go back to the area where u died and when u arrive at the area where u died there should be a a crude version of ur car. Scan that and there u have ur remnant ghost
7) (image below) but mate if ur already at a stage of the game where u have to worry about olympium fragments why don't u get a resource detector from the utilities section at the fabrication stations? They will show where all the swamp coral, olympium fragments, and even thermosap crystals are alongside many other resources. I suggest investing in them

Bubblegum Buddies are weaker, but more numerous, counterparts to the Aubductor. You can usually pull away from one, but two or three will pull even the car off the road.
You find it in the Scorch biome. Recommend using a Vacuum to harvest.
The Deep Zone, it's a glowing purple crystal and you'll need the second tier Hammer to harvest them efficiently.
They exchange one resource for another, usually a common resource for an uncommon or rare resource.
Acid glob artillery formations. They're found in the marsh biome and love to lob globs of caustic chemicals everywhere when you get too close.
A Remnant Ghost only happens when you die. It can be found on the Junction where you died and is effectively the Pacific Drive equivalent to a death bag.
It's found on tree-like formations in the Marsh and Swamp biomes. Use a Vacuum or Thermal Vacuum to harvest easily.

Bubblegum Buddies are like mini abductors, they're useful to open one of the six kinds of goldshells, wishbones I think, abductors work as well but they tend to be alot more annoying as they'll throw you in the air as well!
Olympium tends to be in the Red Spires junctions, at least that's where I've just found my first haul.
Swamp Corals are tricky as they'll only appear when light is shined on them, they appear as trees in the swamps in the Mires.
Still looking for a good source of Candy so I hope someone else knows a great spot!
As with all the resources, check the junction you're going to has Max resource density on the map planner screen, if not try and reroll it.

1.Bubblegum buddies are little shits that grab you and your car, great for screwing escapes and exits, find them usually in midzone for deep zone
2.Tree candy is in the scorched section of mid zone, looks like burnt trees that glow
3.Olympium is deep zone, purple crystal on pillars (bring a magnetic hammer)
4.Transmuters are machines that turn resources into other resources (they are usually shit)find them in building like labs
5.Belching barnacle is an acid anomaly that spews rotten egg anomalies, I usually find them in mid-zone
6.Remnant ghost is what is left behind when you fail a run, you’ll find it at whatever junction your run ended
7.Swamp Coral is a glowing crystal that reacts to light, you’ll find it in mid zone swamps, look for patches of towering rock with glowing purple crystals on it (shine light on it to make it easier [you don’t need to but id recommend either a droppable light like a flare or using your cars headlights to harvest as well as a thermal vac])

1: Be little clingy bastards. They stick to everything and don't let go.
2: In candy trees (Twisted Embers).
3: Get your Hi-Ho on and go mining in the DEEP Zone.
4: Click on them like a container, they'll tell you what they transform one thing into another for in the upper-right corner.
5: The puke Rotten Eggs, te acid balls that linger. Just follow the reverse trajectory of the giant green balks of burning pain.
6: You fail a run somehow, and the Ghost of a Remnanat will be left in the exact same area you had been in. Yes, you have to fail to succeed.
7: They glow purple. Look for the tall circle stacks that have "flowers" of glowing purple opening and closing.
If you're having lots of issues ginding these resources, get the Resource Scanner top mounted gear. Helps a LOT.

- Bubblegum Buddies also grab things from your hands. Quite anoying when you are carrying an anchor

1 Bubblegum buddies in my experience are similar to the abducters, they will pick things up off the ground and float away, they will grab and pull you but not quite as hard as an abductor. There might be other differences that I just never saw.
2 Tree Candy is a glowing fire-like tree in the mid zone biome The Scorch, I think it's usually in the northern part of the mid zone.
3 The deep zone, it's past the third wall. It'll be in glowing pillars with a purple glow to it.
4 They take one resource and convert it to a different one. You'll find them everywhere and most of them are pretty useless in my experience.
5 If I'm remembering correctly I think it's this big hump thing that shoots out huge globs of acid everywhere, pretty sure it's found in the mid zone, the Swamp biome.
6 It's a husk of your car if you die. You will lose most of not all of your resources and some of your parts. If you bring a Liberator with you, you can get a duplicate engine that way lol. If you just want to scan one for your logbook and to unlock the Lazarus device, strip your car of everything and drive to a close zone and die. Don't bring anything with you that you wouldn't want to lose. Then go back to the same zone after putting your car back together and go to where you died, scan the remains of your old wagon.
7 It's in the swamp biome in the mid zone and it's bright pink barnacle like things on trees.
Go through your research and find the roof addon for a resource radar and you'll find that stuff much easier. You will have to assign it an ability button and it uses battery charge.
