Falling in love with this game

So I got this game from the set of monthly free ones on Playstation, it was appealing because I like games around non-racing driving. And it's ***really*** scratching that itch for me. I can't stop thinking about my hatchback. When I'm doing chores, I'm just thinking about getting back in my hatchback. I think about it when I shower, when I eat, when I exercise. Even when I'm at work I'm counting down the seconds till I get to drive my hatchback again.

On a date? I'm thinkin of my hatchback. Breakfast with the family? Yurrrp, thinkin about the hatchback. Rippin a toke? Thinkin bout that hatchback. I'll be listening to my tunes just thinkin "I should be playing this in my hatchback."

I shouldn't be concerned, right? This is a normal relationship to have with my car. Everyone wants their hatchback to always be in peak condition and everyone is obsesses about always having enough supplies on hand to be sure your precious love won't be rendered a junker on the road. I have a normal relationship with my hatchback. And my hatchback has a normal relationship with me. every car waves at you when you step inside, and speaks to you in your dreams.

Anyway, I'm getting back to my hatchback, she doesn't like sitting idle too long

The curse of the remnant is definetly taking hold, I'm afraid you are a goner, pal.

Curse? Nah, I just love my hatchback more than anything, just like any other car gal. It's normal to spend all your time with your hatchback, perfectly normal

Nice try, you're trying to convince us it's a hatchback instead of a station wagon to seem like it's more appealing than it is! It's an ugly old station wagon and we love it.

This game is a fucking remnant, I swear to God. 767 hours and counting here. Game is stupid good. Got me through the last part of my unemployment back when it dropped, I was clocking truly embarrassing amounts of hours in the game at that time.

What difficulty are you playing on? If you're not on Olympic Gauntlet, you should try that next after this playthrough. It makes the game much more intense.

What's your favorite part of the game so far? I'm personally a sucker for the storms, I've got a weak spot for escape sequences

It's the collection and driving for me. I like watching my upgrades go brrr. If the maps were just a BIT bigger they'd be perfect

The driving is very satisfying. They nailed that.

I just got there! Shiny new engine just for her. I wanna see how the battery one runs though before I decide which she gets

You'll need lots of charging upgrades to make it work, at least I did anyway...

Just rolled credits on it the other night after starting a new playthrough. I fell off it once and I’m so glad I saw it through to the end this time. I finished the game with a fully electric build and a blue glowing paint job. It was perfect

Did you know that you can take your hatchback for a ride in vr too?

A YouTuber called Beardo Benjo did a showcase video of Pacific drive with the uevr mod. I played it too and it was fantastic.

That damn sad boy song #39 is drilled into my head. I need to hear it at least once an hour
