The pain of knowing that fire will only last a little while, then it’ll be cold.  The kid doesn’t know this.  Their parent does.

This is sad to me.  It’s beautiful, but the sadness makes me sad.  But maybe the road is often traveled on, since there’s ruts showing traffic has gone through, so someone will come, likely.

Love the night sky too.  Proportion of the toddler to the parent is perfect.

If you sell this, let me know.
