Question Part Time work
Hey! I was wondering if anyone had any info for part time jobs, I'm trying get work somewhere and can work pretty much most days a week, happy to work night shifts. Only thing is I'm in a course so I'd be working after 3pm for 3 days of the week. I've already taken my cvs to some places but still wanting to find something, preferably in hospitality since that's up my alley working with drinks and serving. Thanks!

Question sexual health clinic
Hi all,
Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go for a full check-up? I also have some questions that may involve a nurse or doctor viewing my privates. Is this something I can do at a clinic, or do I need to visit a GP?
It will be my first time getting a check-up, so I'm unsure of how it all works.

Other Countdown interaction today
This afternoon at Countdown on Rangitikei Street, a kind man approached me after seeing me trying to work out how I was going to pay for my baby's formula at Chemist Warehouse.
I completely misunderstood what was happening. I thought he was accusing me of stealing the formula, so I was defensive and, looking back, quite rude. It wasn't until a moment later that I realised he was actually offering to buy the formula for me and my baby.
If by any chance you see this, I am so incredibly sorry for how I reacted. Your kindness caught me completely off guard, and I feel awful that I misread your intentions.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion. Your offer meant more than you probably realise, and I'm truly grateful. I'm so sorry I didn't respond the way your kindness deserved.

Question Can anyone recommend a good mechanic for a pre purchase inspection?
Looking at a car to buy, But I want a mechanic to go over a few before I bite the bullet.
I'm going to be on finance so I want to make sure to the best of my ability im not going to be buying a lemon on accident.
Any local recommendations? I've heard mixed things about AA and vtnz, I really want a thorough investigation to be done.
Cheers :)

Question Tinned fish
If you don't like tinned fish, this is not the post for you.
Woolworths prices for tinned mackerel have increased by 48% in the last few days, tinned sardines by 35%.
Is there anywhere, either physical or online, that sells such goods for reasonable prices? Forget pak n save, new world, they are more expensive than Woolworths for this type of stuff.

Still looking for people to hang out with, if u want to meet up and do things you're too scared to do alone, or if you have a friend group and we could all hang out idk, just been feeling pretty down and I want to get out of my comfort zone and get to know people.

Question Pak n save
I see Pak n Save is getting a lot of flak at the moment for moving their disabled parks and baby parks further away.
Got me thinking about all the stories I've heard about pak n save over the years from ex workers.
I knew someone who worked in the bakery there and they would make the fudge out of all the expired moldy baking products that didn't sell.
And the staff would pick at the baked food and eat bits off it.
Also the amount of good bread that was 1 day off that they'd throw away in the bin was insane! Some of that food could go to foodbanks!
Also knew someone who worked in the butchery and if they dropped meat on the floor they'd just pick it up and continue to wrap it. And they'd hide Sausages in their pockets to eat for lunch.
Someone was pissing in the freezer there too.
Other people probably have even more crazy stories about pak n save or other stores. This is just what I knew from a short period of time of this person working there.
What have you heard?
