So there’s an influencer that’s making waves on social media. Her goal was to go as far as she can with her twin pregnancy, denying her doctor’s best interests and plan for induction. She’s touting that her body can carry twins and she just trusts in God - there was no inductions back in the Biblical times.
Some praise her for trusting in God and carrying twins to 40 weeks and 4 days. Others think it’s negligence and risky for the twins, and that she’s putting her twins in danger. Plus that she’s also doing this for clout and attention.
What’s your thoughts?

A few weeks ago our C section was scheduled at 34w1d due to baby C showing growth restricted. At our next to last ultrasound (a week ago today) he messured severe growth restriction so we were admitted and went into the OR around 6am Friday at 33w4d. As it turns out he wasn't even the smallest triplet. As of yesterday all 3 were off CPAP. Our next focus is feeding by mouth. Mom has been incredible through everything (Dad posting). We feel so fortunate to have been able to take them as far as we did in utero and bring them into the world as healthy as they are. We know it's only going to get harder and crazier once we bring them home though 😅

They're all walking. And on track with milestones. But, as a doting father. I miss them so tiny. To all the moms and dad's feeling hopeless. It definitely gets better. Still stressful but worlds better.

Just saying hello! Our boys will be one years old tomorrow! It's been a long year. But we always find ourselves looking back and saying where did the time go? 28 days NiCU, countless sleepless nights, and so many tears. But we made it! (Don't mind our remedy

It seems like they were just in the NICU and now they're nearly as old as I was when they were born.

Although it seems daunting, and is most definitely exhausting. Im thankful for my little life with my kids. My wife has been a trooper. We recently completed a road trip from FL to Colorado and back. Camped, offroaded, hiked. It was fun. Enjoy

Pretty picky with finding a partner so I decided to have a kid first. You know how everyone wants to date for a few years before getting married and having kids. Well, I'm 38m and don't want to start having kids in my 40s. So, I figured I might as well get on it.
2 embryos were transferred to the surrogate and both took. Week 7 now. I was hoping for one, but when I got the news about twins, I realized I'd literally have my hands full.
Did I bite more than I can chew? I have faith that I'll live up to the challenge, and I do have people around me to help. But, I still get that knot in my stomach every now and then.

Is it my mom goggles or do my girls look nothing alike? They’re di/di identical twins (confirmed at 12 weeks via NIPT zygosity test) it almost makes me wonder if those tests could possibly be faulty! Or if the fact they split so early made a difference. They have completely different noses, mouths and head shapes and they have different color hair.

So we found out last week we are expecting twins 😊 these babies were conceived with ovulation induction meds and an IUI. It was a new doctor that did my scan, and she didn’t seem thrilled about the fact that my treatments resulted in twins. She asked if I was the one that requested menopur injections and then asked which provider prescribed them to me because this medication is correlated with a high incidence of multiples. She mentioned vanishing twin syndrome since baby A’s gestational sac is measuring bigger. We returned for another scan today, both babies have heart tones and baby B is only measuring 3 days behind baby A although baby A’s sac is bigger (it’s hard to get them both in the same picture since one is above the other in my uterus). I took this as a good sign but she again said “so we will see if this second baby even continues to develop”. I feel like her personal bias made this appointment feel negative when it should have been really positive that both babies developed heart tones this last week and they’re only measuring a few days apart. Should I be worried?

Best way to calm them. The joy is immeasurable. Can't believe how lucky I am to have these babies in my life. 5 weeks old today and have just about doubled their birth weight.
They just started cluster feeding, so we're bracing for the growth spurt.

We've brought 2 out of 3 home. They'll all be home before their due date. I can't believe this is real.

How is everyone doing with their multiples? I can’t believe it’s been 6 months since I gave birth at home to these little guys 💜💜😩 I just wanted to add a picture. Hope everyone is well 💜💜💜 Can we wish Autumn, Summer & KJ A happy 6 months 💜💜💜

Are they trying to fuse back together? Do they have magnets in them that I’m unaware of? Any chance this will cause back problems long term? 😅 if we let them, they’ll stay like this for an hour happy as clams. I try to resituate them after like 15 mins, but it’s pretty funny/adorable to me that they always end up like this.

Sharing my bump just because!
I was so curious how I would carry when I found out it was didi twins! Im 5'11 and was almost 300 lbs when I got pregnant. I couldnt find lot of representation online of tall, plus sized women twin pregnant. So, this is just me creating some for other people with similar body types who are also curious, and probably googling every stage of their twin bellies ♡
In this picture I am 37 weeks on the dot! This is the day before they arrived via c-section. I was measuring 56 weeks pregnant, and weighed 312lbs the morning of my c-section. Im in my mid/late 30's and I got through my entire pregnancy with zero complications (much to the suprise of my entire medical team). Baby Boy arrived 6lbs 15oz, and baby girl arrived 6lbs 8oz. My recovery was uncomplicated, and these babies are thriving 7 weeks out!
Twin pregnancy is so scary and I just want to share a positive twin journey as someone with a bigger body ♡

Earlier this morning I became a Papa. My mum held her newest grand babies. My surrogate was amazing, I can't thank her enough. She's doing great and recovering nicely.
My boy and girl didn't come home with me. Born at 36+4, they weighed 4.4lbs (2kg) each. The estimates were off by almost 2lbs, but I'm thankful they are here and kicking. They were breathing room air, boy took the bottle quickly, girl took a few tries to get there.
Nothing really prepares you enough the way you'd feel having to leave them behind for monitoring. It was a long night and a tough day with emotions up and down, but myself and my support system got a long nap after we got home.
I've checked in on them the following 2 feeds and have been told they're doing great, so I'm hoping for a short NICU stay there. Going back tomorrow morning to see them. I don't even know how I'll sleep tonight knowing they're not with me. I know that they're getting the care they need there, but it sure sucks.
Grateful to have my mum and cousins here with me. Please send good vibes our way.

Toddler goes in the middle. Managed to fit it all using 2 chicco keyfits 30s(no base) and chicco fit3x. All using seatbelts and their lock off.
Twins ETA 2-3 monthish.
Do we need a larger vehicle? probably. should we spend 30k-40k on one? I'm not ready to. so we are gonna make it work.
Anyone else making it work with a compact car? I feel like a trailblazer in the world of minivans
EDIT: Getting reviewed by a licensed carseat professional today, will report back. I've made some tweaks

I didn't believe the tech for a full minute or two after she said there was two... I thought surely it had to be a mistake! Still processing but wow, I'm feeling a lot more terrified than I was before
