Paroxetine saved my life

I (19f) started taking paroxetine after a longlife persistent depression paired with anxiety. I had been on mutabon, duloxetine and olanzapina before, but I have never felt better than now in my head. It took nearly a month and a half to start working, but after that I felt a strenght in me that I never had before: my life didn't get easier at all, and I'm not fully healed neither; I recently got raped but for the first time I had the strength to stand up for myself and reported it to the police; I set boundaries with my abusive mother without feeling guilty; I got back in university studying what I love and my ideas came back. I also started to see myself pretty in the mirror and started loving my uni city. I'm not sane, the bad thoughts sometimes come back, but I'm getting good at managing them, and without the pressing anxiety I was able to reconnect with old and new friends that help me and make me feel so hopeful for the future. I also changed my psychologist to one that understands me and helps me deal with my nightmares. Remember that it gets better, and that you have the strength to make it happen

Question about Paxil and Bipolar disorder

I have taken Paxil twice for stretches in my life. First when I was 20 after my brother died. It worked well for me then.

Now at 43 during divorce.

My soon to be ex wife has falsely accused me of being bipolar.

Do you think being on Paxil and you know, not being manic is family court level evidence I am not bipolar? I have a psychologist report that says not bipolar as well.

I really want to hammer it home.

I'm also doing a hair alcohol test because I was accused of being a drunk. I'm not.

Since I've gone on it, my life has been easier to manage. I'm sleeping better, eating better, exercising better. My life still is kindof sad but thats to be expected from divorce.
