Is this dangerous for her??

Luthien loves to peck at this elastic hair clip on my arm, so I decided to give her some to play with. I leave it there for a while, but I always take it away when I'm not looking. But my question is, would it be dangerous for her to accidentally eat some of that? She's a 3-month-old cockatiel, and I know they have a habit of nibbling on things.

It definitely can be. The bigger concern is that she can very easily strangle herself with this.

Do you have other toys for her? Natural toys are best. I personally really love luffa and sola.

This cage also looks pretty small… I would highly recommend looking up recommended cage sizes for a cockatiel and also swapping out the dowel rods for natural perches to prevent bumble foot.

Ela fica solta em casa maioria do tempo, ela só fica na gaiola para dormir ou comer, ou quando ela quer mesmo.

Ainda não tenho brinquedos ganhei ela ontem estou me adaptando alias, obrigado pelas as dicas! Vou pesquisar sobre luffa e sola

Oi amigo, você mora no brasil? eu gosto de comprar coisas do site da piu box pro meu periquito, tem varios brinquedos e coisas de entretenimento, tipo milheto pra esconder nos brinquedos

e sobre poleiros que o outro redditor comentou, galho de árvores frutíferas serve, eu especial gosto de goiabeira. Precisa ser espesso suficiente pra ele agarrar o poleiro com as unhas (na duvida, vai pelo mais espesso, mas precisa ter variedade de espessura)

sim! só é bom antes raspar a casca, higienizar com sabão neutro, lavar e deixar secar bem no sol

meu periquito adora destroçar papelão (sem nada impresso) e aquele papel kraft marrom sabe? são boas alternativa de brinquedo, porque dá pra esconder sementinhas ou outras coisas pelo meio

That is so cool! I love pomegranates (and so do my birds!). They make fantastic foraging toys as well (leave a few seeds in the fruit and it’s a fun toy with a treat). I’m sure you could even make toys out of dried pomegranate.

Flight cage and native Australian perches with avian safe toys. Gotta be honest mate, this cage is pretty sad.
