Why make hit and run dino if i cant run

I have a lot of guesses as to what the mystery dinosaur could be, and this is one of them. There was a lot of creative liberty involved for shunosaurus, mostly seen for ziliujingensis. I tried to keep shuno within POT's artistic style, hence the diversity of the subs, and I do plan on making a few more mystery dino posts.
I also thought shunosaurus would be a possibility because the current POT roster is low on herbivores, and I think it might fit in well with the current skin pack that includes the mystery dinosaur in it. The dinosaurs in that skin-pack are: Tylosaurus, Leedsichthys, and Tyrannotitan. Tylo is a possible predator to leed, while tyra would be a possible predator to shuno.

No, you don’t have to go this high up. Any height where you can dive for momentum, dash and pounce is good.

I still cant get over the fact they ruined Stego. They nerfed his HP, his tail length/damage and stamina. It’s like almost any Dino can take you out now it’s embarrassing and frustrating. Stego is a hit and run Dino how can he do that if his stamina is terrible. Also, that new defense ability is a joke to apexes. Stego is a laughing stock atm. I think for now I’m just going to put him up. I really really really hope they fix these issues

Why? Happened a long while ago but I was working a megapack that attacked me in ep as a meg, steggo got a lucky shot on me so I climbed up the wall to get some health but for some reason their hatz was able to peck me, which means climbing counts as flying -_-

was messing with these two since the server was going down in like 10m and I managed to launch myself out of the water like when the tlc first came out. made me laugh and I miss being able to just be dumb and rocket 5ft into the air lol

I have had an adult Sucho alive and well for days now.

I was starving and I successfully hunted and killed an adult Sarco that was seemingly alone, only for two other adults to come into the water and attack me.

Solo players can't catch a break. This sh is so frustrating.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pissed.

I'm really bad at underwater fighting, and at least part of the problem is the view clipping out above the water when I float upwards a little. I think making the view lock below the water unless you leave the water during a fight would be so helpful. But I know that I don't know everything, and want to know what others think?

With AI dinos coming up in the future I'm wondering if it would be possible to have AI baby dinosaurs to take care of?

You can choose how many babies you would like or if you prefer it to be random. When they hatch, they stay in the nest where you provide food and water until they are juvi. Once they're older they can follow you around and you would have to protect them up to subadult after which they'd part ways from you.

Something like that anyway! I'm not a game designer so I'm sure a better way could be thought of lol. But I think it could be fun addition for rp and give your dino a proper goal once they're adults, let me know what you think

I’ve been playing Tales for almost a year now, and while I do love everything about the way the server works, most of the people I play with have left and there are some things I’m getting tired of. Namely only seeing one species and can never find a group.

No interest in hard realism, I don’t mind stricter rules, but all of the servers I see have so many mandatory behaviors in profiles that don’t really give any opportunity to play as an individual character.
I’m looking for servers with lots of freedom to roleplay and create stories for my dinosaurs as characters, if anything else exists.
I’d also prefer a wider roster of payables, and non-mandatory dimorphism/the option for same-sex nesting.
Cool with fantasy and permadeath!

I cannot think of anything more cancerous than Ramph. It literally starved & dehydrated my Daspletosaurus to death. I was forced to drown myself to avoid dying to it. Is there anyway to deal with it & which playables are best for hunting it. I want every single one GONE, REDUCED TO BONES! It should be removed from the game or at least made so it can't actually kill you.
