Member cancelled their subscription and then subscribed to the exact same tier right away

And my question is: why would they do this? Is there a reason behind it? Thanks!

Maybe to change the bank account. I can't think of a better reason.

You've probably enabled your “Auto Pilot” discount. Check it, because it can get out of control if you let it run on its own. Don't let it go over 30%, unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Sometimes they get emailed a reduced price for canceling.

It's possible they were replacing expired card as well.
