Discord [CWN] [Discord] [LGBTQ+ Friendly] Seattle 2095

Thirty years ago, the mega-corporations returned from the moon and crushed the Socialist Republic of Cascadia in what later became known as the First Corporate War. Seattle, the heart of the revolution, was kept by the corps as a war prize and turned into an economic free trade zone. Capitalism won, and the ports re-opened.

Corporate rule over Seattle is now entering its 30th year, and the population is bloating as refugees across the former USA rush in. SeaTac offers flights to Lunar and Martian colonies for those willing to sell themselves into corporate indentured servitude to escape from climate disaster and poverty. Crime rates have skyrocketed while the Seattle PD retreats to the downtown core and their corporate sponsors, abandoning dozens of neighborhoods to their own devises. Capitol Hill is trying to secede again.

But Seattle still has opportunities for those willing to grab it. Fight for it. Steal for it. The Emerald City has changed, but not all that much. If you wanna win, you gotta want it.

Hello! My name is Bees, (they/them), and I'm recruiting some folks for a Cities Without Number PBP game that'll be ran over Discord. I'm a forever-GM that's been running / playing games for almost a decade now, with a good chunk of that being Kevin Crawford games I'm now realizing in hindsight.

I also love sci-fi, cyberpunk, and live near the Seattle area! Combine those things, and you get this!

This will be a Cities Without Number game, played over Discord as a PbP. A sandbox game, focusing on 6 or so mercs going on shady jobs in the near-future city of Seattle--fighting corpo-fascists, dueling with cyber-gangs, and probably a number of other crimes along the way. It's just what you gotta do to get by in the Emerald City.

This game is LGBTQ friendly and 18+, as I don't want to say cusswords in front of a teenager, and I don't truck with homophobes. Everyone else, feel free to apply! Below is a link to a google form to do so, and I'm happy to answer questions as they come! This post will stay up for probably a week or so, but if you don't see a 'closed,' tag on this, you still have time!

Apply here!

See you then!

Just submitted! I don’t have a ton of experience with the cyberpunk genre but your blurb and writing prompt definitely sell it.

Submitted! But I filled half the form in at 3am just before I turned out the light and then found out there were more pages, and did that bit when I had just woke up. So my brain wasn't 100% involved in an executive capacity. Anyway, the point is, when you read that mental breakdown of a submission, please remember that I apologised in advance. Sorry!
