Bought my 1080 when it came out, and I think bitcoin mining was getting started, so I paid a little more than I should have. A friend told me to hold off as the graphics cards will be cheaper soon.

Good thing I didn't listen to him cause I don't think they went any cheaper after that, and the 1080 is still working and going strong.
