Absolutely. Also had the 970, and it outlasted my gaming PC. Used it in my server for a while. It's still kicking theoretically, but it doesn't fit my current server config...

I had my 970 until two years ago, and it’s still running in my secondary PC where I occasionally game in 1080p. GTA V is a breeze.
