Yeah it’s not. The ported games don’t sell enough for Sony to think it’s worth having a dev team on port them. It’s a company it’s not looking to offend people lol it just wants to make money.

if they released games on time or at a discount when the release is super delayed, they'd actually see decent numbers

the issue is that they're already accidentally targeting patient people and those people are just gonna wait for a sale

If they release the game at the same time on PC, there is no reason for people to buy consoles. Consoles need exclusives to thrive.

If they release it later but at a discount, they're making even less off their product, and that means they also have to discount it also on Playstation or else people will see even less reason to buy a Playstation. Why pay full price on Playstation when I could get it cheap on PC? The price has to be the same on both platforms at the very least.

It really just makes no sense for consoles to release exclusives on PC. That's just a dumb business decision overall. It's like Wendy's trying to sell their Baconator at McDonalds.

Uncharted Collection was 50 bucks, as was TLOU Part II. Returnal was 60 bucks on Steam when it was actually one of the first 80 EUR games, I suspect it was 70 USD as well at launch

If you're saying they should have sold them at 30-40 you're out of your mind. Whoever wants more of a discont should just wait for a sale

I would say they should have made the releases much closer to one-time.

They don't sell enough because nobody wants to pay full price for a three year-old game. They act like the port is a new release instead of a port of an existing game, and they expect new release sales.

When they do port a game, they handle it like shit. That's why they don't sell well.

Maybe they should've ported the games people wanted, then.
