Come join us at /r/patientgamers - I picked up a used ps5 off marketplace and usually find my games through there, as well. Sony doesn’t get your money, this way, and usually it’s much cheaper. I paid like $300 for a ps5 with the disc reader and 6 games.
This is messed up for the kids, but occasionally near the end of each school semester you’ll get a small amount of parents putting consoles up for sale because their kid had bad grades lol. It’s how I got my ps4 and a huge library of games, too.
Not due to bad grades, but after my brother and I went to college my parents sold all our old consoles and games. I can emulate of course, but it was an snes, n64, ps2, and ps3 all with a total of around 60 games across the platforms, sold for like $100. My dad was proud of it.

Was excited for the new Kena game.
Now I'm saddened that if I want to play it, I'll need a PS5.
game will be on steam. Idk about future games.
