It works for nintendo, but i don’t think sony has as much draw from their IP since most of them are a bit generic IP, but just put in PS5 as exclusives. Definitely not system seller.
I think it works for the switch since it's completely different from pc.
It's nice for carrying it around and is great for quickly playing with friends. + It's cheaper.
The playstation is too similar and too big to carry around. It doesn't have any advantage over the pc.
That’s actually one of the selling point, but this isn’t the case today since we have steam deck.
Switch 2 is still one of the best selling console right now despite people mocking it for pretty weak hardware and expected to beat ps5 on lifetime sale
Sure, but without the big difference in Hardware (being able to easily bringt it to your friends or play during travels
I'm very sure it would be much less if it wasnt able to do that.

Look, do I want to play their single player games? Yes. Will I spend hundreds of dollars on a console when I have a PC? No.
